I find it irritating which we need assistance from hosting websites similar to go dad or yahoo to tell my website. Do we need web hosting even if we have my own server?
So how do we register the domain name? Does dreamweaver have which feature? Is there anything else we need on top of dreamweaver as well as the server for the utterly eccentric website?

You could use blogger to make blogs without domains.

if you have a sever ie. web server you don’t require a hosting service.just a registered domain with static/dynamic IP(will need some dyndns kind of service ) will work.

You will not need hosting for files and such, but will need a domain name registered unless it is only to be accessed from inside a LAN. Otherwise you will need to type the IP address into the address bar. And you will also need a static IP or your IP will change.

You do not unless you have a server of your own. Web hosting is not expensive. If you have your own server then you should use it and cut out the extra cost.
